Professional Development
This Bridging Training program focuses on the business and practice-management side of supervised visitation services. It is designed for people who are preparing to launch a practice, qualified providers who want stronger operating systems, and existing providers or program owners who want to improve the way their practice is organized and managed.
This 6-hour Business & Practice Management Training is optional supplemental professional development. It is not part of, and does not replace, Bridging Training's 24-hour California Professional Supervised Visitation and Exchange Services Provider Training or any qualification, background, court, insurance, licensing, registration, tax, or local requirements that may apply.
Choose Your Format
The core business-training content is designed around the same high-level learning outcomes. Choose the delivery format that best fits your schedule and preferred way of learning.

High-Level Learning Outcomes
Bridging Training site provides a public overview of the program. The detailed instructional curriculum, lessons, exercises, and module materials are reserved for enrolled participants in the Training Portal.
Understand the major business, administrative, financial, and professional considerations involved in establishing an organized supervised visitation practice.
Develop a clearer approach to inquiries, intake, case setup, scheduling, documentation, records, communication, and day-to-day practice administration.
Consider fees, operating costs, travel and cancellation policies, administrative time, payment processes, workload, and sustainable practice management.
Recognize business-risk areas involving insurance, policies, records, confidentiality, service boundaries, and questions that may require professional legal, tax, or insurance guidance.
Build a credible professional presence and understand high-level approaches to websites, provider listings, community relationships, attorney outreach, and ethical marketing.
Bring the business side of the practice together through repeatable systems, planning tools, and operating habits that support professional service delivery.
Participant Resources
The Business Training Certificate of Completion documents completion of this supplemental 6-hour Bridging Training program. It is separate from the certificate issued for the 24-hour professional-provider training and does not independently establish professional-provider qualification.
Business Training
Focuses on the practical business and practice-management considerations involved in organizing and operating supervised visitation services.
Provider Training
Focuses on the training requirements and subject matter applicable to California professional supervised visitation and exchange services providers.
The Difference
The business program helps participants think about operating a practice. The provider program addresses professional-provider education. Completing one does not replace the other.
